Panoramic X-Ray machine with mobile emission source for glass jars and bottles

The Raybox Panoramic from Raytec is an X-Ray inspection system designed specifically to offer 100% coverage of glass bottles and jars.

Featuring an x-ray transparent conveyor, the RayBox Panoramic examines the product by aligning the source with the jar lid, and using panoramic vision it inspects the cover and bottom of the container.

Running at line speeds of up to 100m per minute, the Raybox Panoramic can inspect jars with diameters up to 160mm for maximum flexibility.

The system can detect and reject jars containing high density foreign objects such as metal, glass, ceramic, stone, Viton rubber, and so on. In addition the system can reject fallen jars, glass defects, low filling levels and incomplete twist cap seating.

For rejecting defects the RayBox is fitted with electro-pneumatic actuators that enables containers of any size to be ejected with high precision.

The DualX X-ray inspection technology from Anritsu allows distinguishing between product and contaminant. It has a higher detection rate of detecting low-density bones and is well-suited to sense rubber and stones. Without false rejection, the overlapped products can be inspected.

From customers to the poultry market equipment distributors, DualX has three main goals which are: virtually eliminate false rejects, detect up to 0.2 mm and ease the use for overall system operation. Maximum X-ray output is 350 Watts.

Ultra high definition X-ray for low-contrast contaminant detection

The KD74-h series from Anritsu has maximum detection sensitivity, i.e. it can detect a metal ball of 0.2-mm dia at production line speed. The sensors make it possible to detect low-contrast contaminants such as bone and plastics. The additional “Package Check†function made it possible to detect the contents trapped in the packaging seal wrap.

The four high definition models of this series are: KD7405CWT and KD7405DWH (for minute metals). Others are KD7416DWH and KD7417DWH for wide-conveyor type available. The X-ray output is maximum 350 Watts.

The KD74 series from Anritsu come in different models that can be optimized for packaged and unpackaged goods, bulk powder or liquid products. What sets the series apart are the high sensitivity and stability to detect both soft and wire contaminants. The unique image processing algorithms are used. For improving detection sensitivity, abundant functions are included such as shape detection, relative mass function and others. The masking technology introduced to eliminate dense areas from the image.

Start using x-ray for inspecting dry products

The KD74- f series from Anritsu is specifically designed to inspect dry products. It has a display of 15 inch color TFT LCD and has touch panel for operating. Its structures and functions are suitable for dry products such as production lines of confectionery and seasoning.

It has two models KD7405KP. It has 100 mm long conveyor model that helps during conveyance. The other model KD7405KCP is a model for lighter products and small-packaged products. The detection sensitivity of both is high i.e. 0.3 mm dia and SUS sphere is possible. X-ray output is maximum 100W.
