DYNO^Â®-MILL Universal Bead Mill (UBM) from WAB-GROUP^Â®provides ultra-fine grinding and efficient dispersion solutions for a wide range of food and beverages, from laboratory-scale (DYNO^Â®-MILL UNI LAB) to large-scale production. The mill accommodates a grinding chamber volume ranging from 0.5 to 100 lÂ while utilizing grinding media ranging between Ã˜ 0.2 and 2.5 mm. It serves dispersion and grinding for food refinement of chocolates, natural colorants, alternative foods, food supplements, and pet foods.Â Â DYNO^Â®-MILL UBM features the DYNO^Â®-DISC BC agitator discs, designed with grinding media channels, which ensure effective acceleration of the grinding beads along a precisely defined path. Accuracy is a primary concern for case-packing pre-packaged foods such as milk or preserves. But in order to position items into large cases at high speeds, the infeed system must quickly adjust to different packaging options, including cartons, cans, pouches, and doypacks.

Pack foodstuffs automatically in RSC and WA cases at high-speeds

The ALISIO, from Mpac, is a side-load case packing system for a range of pre-packaged formats. Snacks, beverages, and foods may be loaded into regular slotted cases (RSC) or wrap-around (WA) cases. The high-speed system reaches a maximum output of 25 cases per minute. At the same time, Â the intuitive, user-friendly controls with Intelligent Machine Interface are designed for automatic changeovers of less than 10 minutes.

The system supports small batches allowing operators to switch between RSC and WA cases. Its open and robust construction makes all components accessible and easy to clean. The case magazine can be adjusted to accommodate up to 300 cases. The ALISIO is servo-driven and directly coupled to its components to minimize wear and improve operating life. A modular infeed design makes handling bags, pouches, cartons, and other types of packaging easy. The unit is designed to operate continuously with fewer stops for maximum productivity and is rated at 98% efficiency.

Foil flow pack wrapping of chocolate products is an attractive and practical packaging option. Traditional flow pack machines can be inflexible in design, forcing a compromise in wrapping speed or product type. A purpose-designed modular system allows complete customisation to your exact requirements while facilitating amendments or upgrades to your system at a later stage.

Modular hot or cold seal foil flow wrapper for chocolate products

The FPC5 from Theegarten Pactec is a fully flexible high-speed flow pack machine that has been specifically designed to wrap deposited or enrobed chocolate products as well as bars.

The modular design means that the FPC5 can be specified to meet your exact needs and requirements while giving the enhanced flexibility of easy upgrades or modifications in the future.

Able to wrap up to 1,500 pieces per minute, the FPC5 can be upgraded with a low-contact vaccuum-supported synchronisation belt infeed system, smart belt infeed, or infeed lug chain with robotic feeding.

For the handling of multipack products, the optional cardboard dispenser and grouping device can be included. Other discharge options include gravity discharge chute or discharge conveyor with a separate drive.

A range of sealing options and styles for heat or cold seal foils is available. These include a two- or three-stage longitudinal sealer suitable for cold or hot sealing; long-seam sealer; segmented cross sealing with up to 4 jaws; cross-seam sealing in longitudinal or transverse directions.

Thanks to its fully automatic operation and simple touchscreen HMI, several FPC5 machines can easily be overseen by a single operator.
